This Aksium Disc model includes special features aimed at the unique demands of disc brake road bikes. It uses 24 straight-pull spokes for added stiffness and strength.
With a 17mm internal width, this rim is compatible with tires up to 32mm, making them versatile, comfortable and ideal for challenging road conditions. The disc-specific hub features super strong QRM bearings that provide low friction and long-term durability.

Inside the Aksium Disc the new freewheel-generation named will be used – it makes a perfect hub: low weight, minimized friction, quick force-closure, high axle-stiffness and enormously long lifetime. And if maintenance should be necessary, or altering the axle-standard, it is tool-free and easier than ever before.
