Crossmax wheels have enjoyed an excellent reputation among cross-country wheels for racing and trail use for many years.

And these tubeless-ready wheels live up to their name – with plenty of features and technologies that come from the wheels of XC pros, but at a much lower price. One of the top features is Mavic’s UST technology, which allows for an especially user-friendly setup with Tubeless Ready tyres and offers all their advantages: from better traction and control to smoother rolling and lower puncture risk. To achieve this, Mavic uses a hookless rim profile with 25mm inner width, optimal for the current XC tires on the market.
The wheels are built with 24 straight spokes each to save weight and maximize stability at the same time. Ultimately, this results in the perfect balance of efficiency and durability. The power transmission at the rear wheel is provided by Mavic’s Instant Drive 360 freewheel.

Thanks to the easy-to-use UST (Universal Standard for Tubeless) rims, these wheels guarantee all the tubeless advantages – traction, control, higher puncture resistance and less weight.

Technologies:

Welding Technology – More stable and smoother rim joint. Soudé Usiné Process. The rim joint is welded and then milled over to achieve an even braking surface.

Hubs – The lightweight Infinity hubs provide optimized lateral stiffness and spoke tension.

Freewheel Technology – The Instant Drive 360 freewheel system is super lightweight and provides a quick engagement angle of only 9°. A large non-contact rubber seal reduces friction. And a wide selection of stub axles ensures compatibility with many installation standards.

(Qualité de Roulements Mavic Auto) – Mavic’s bearing innovation. These industrial bearings (internal clearance: C3) are of course double sealed. Their bearing clearance is automatically adjusted to guarantee smooth running without any play.

Mavic’s “Mavic Care” program allows you to activate a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty online for free up to 5 days after purchase for all newly purchased wheels, helmets and Comète Ultimate shoes. An image of the original purchase receipt is required for online registration. In addition, wheels registered with “Mavic Care” are covered by Mavic’s crash replacement program.
