That’s where the new Crossmax XL comes in , the best aluminum trail wheel we’ve ever made. The rims are manufactured using our Fore technology, including a completely sealed upper bridge, which eliminates the need for the rim tape. Each wheel weighs 30 grams less, and saves the cyclist this tedious operation before installing a tubeless tire.
The internal rim width of 30mm is ideal for optimizing the performance of all modern trail tires. Its very resistant triangular profile is specially designed to absorb the shocks of the terrain. Our Black Shield technology gives it a unique finish, which guarantees its protection against scratches and abrasion. To achieve the delicate balance between lateral stiffness and vertical flexibility, we use 24 straight spokes.
