Details of the Mavic Crossmax XL

The rims are made with the patented Fore technology, which features a fully sealed upper bridge that eliminates the need for rim tape. That saves 30 grams per wheel and does away with the hassle of using tape to set up tubeless tires. The rim has a 30mm internal width, perfect for optimizing the performance of any modern trail tire. It’s engineered with a super strong triangular shape, designed specifically to absorb impacts from the trail.

The spokes further dial in the sweet spot between lateral stiffness and vertical compliance. The Infinity hubs feature a stiffer and lighter construction that’s enhanced by the ultra-reliable ID360 double ratchet system for fast engagement.
