This technical trail jacket has Gore Windstopper Infinium technology to protects you from cold wind and light showers while remaining breathable.  Nothing against summer, but when it comes to trail riding the real magic happens during transitional seasons. Nothing beats the cool air, spring wildflowers and a little rain to make the dirt just right. Sure, spring and fall weather can be unpredictable—but that’s where the Mistral Trail jacket comes in. This technical jacket is lightweight but super protective against cold wind and light rain. It’s made with Gore Windstopper Infinium technology, which offers windproof protection that’s also breathable. The three-layer membrane blocks wind and prevents overheating by allowing vapor and heat to escape. The Mistral Trail Jacket features our Relaxed Fit which means you get a full range of motion without it being so baggy that it flaps in the wind. A lot of this comes down to the design—it’s made specifically for the MTB riding profile and it has pre-shaped sleeves optimized for that position. Stretchy, breathable panels under the arms offer more venting, and the jacket has a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating for added rain protection, plus an under-the-helmet hood with a small brim in case it really storms.
